Zoning by-law ammendment to allow:

1)    Demolition of an existing 6-unit apartment building.

2)    Construction of a 35-storey condominium apartment building.

Details:

Building height: 109 metres

Building density: 14.9 times the lot area

Dwelling units: 300

(240 one-bedroom units and 60 two-bedroom units)

Onsite parking: 153 parking spaces on 8 levels

(4 below grade levels with 75 spaces + 4 above grade levels with 78 spaces).

Other: 200 bicycle parking spaces

Status:

Preliminary Report issued

Public Meeting held June 2013.

The first working group including the applicant, Pemberton, City planner Steve Forrester (sforrest@toronto.ca), the Toronto District School Board, John Fisher PS parents, Keewatin Ave. residents, Uptown Yonge BIA rep. and SPRA met September 17th. Further meetings are  expected in the coming months.
